5 Teatro Picaresque
Recoleta 345, Recoleta.
Originally the Cine Princesa, and now a discoteque, the former Teatro Picaresque is a survivor of the folden age of the northern neighborhood of Recoleta. Characterized by its notorious art déco image, as seen in the geometrical form of its decoration, the zig-zag cornice and the shape of its windows and columns. It has been always related to the Santiago bohème since the 30s, and stands today in a perfect state of conservation, even if its interiors have been mintensely modified.
