2 Edificio Los Húsares
Gastón Saint Jean y Nicolás García, architects.
Mac Iver 484, Santiago.
Amid the rigid regulations of the urban code of downtown Santiago, there are some cases like Los Húsares, where the volume of the building stands out from its neighbors, with the lower horizontal slab and the vertical repetition of floors in the tower, which stands isolated with its four detached facades. Showing the structural elements that support the windows and making them a relevant part of its design, the aluminium curtain wall is one of the best of its kind in Santiago.
